Studio Lesson Policies
Registration:
A non-refundable fee of $30.00 per student is required at the time of registration
Payment of Tuition:
All tuition is paid monthly by automatic withdrawal the 3rd of each month. All tuition is based on a yearly amount and is payable in equal monthly installments (with an exception of June and July). All breaks are considered when the calendar is being prepared to make sure the students receive the correct lessons.
Missed Lessons & Make-up Lessons:
Teachers and studio rooms are scheduled in advance; therefore there are no refunds or make-ups given for missed classes.
Scheduled Lesson Times:
It is responsibility of the students and their parents/guardians to make sure that the student is on time for their lesson. If your child arrives early, please wait in the waiting room until the appropriate time, or if late, go directly back to the assigned classroom.
Semi/Group Lessons:
Because of the nature of semi/group classes, it is necessary to be flexible. If a student moves out of a class we will give you a 30 day notice to either switch into another class of the same type, or keep the same time slot and pay the difference in tuition.
Practice Expectations:
Students are required to practice at home. The recommended amount of practice time will be discussed with the students depending on their age/skill level.
Termination:
A minimum of 1 month written notice is required for termination of lessons.
Holding Fee:
A deposit of $50.00 per lesson spot is required in order to secure a scheduled lesson time, for no longer than a one month period (with the exception of the summer session).
Injuries:
Parents, legal guardians of minors, waive the right of any leagal action for any injury sustained on studio property resulting in normal lesson activity.
Photo Release:
The studio is herby granted permission to take photographs of the student to use in brochures, studio website, posters, advertisements and other promotional materials the studio creates.
