Fall Music Festival ’09

Theme: Jazz blues
What: A Music Festival where participants will play one piece for our staff adjudicators. This is a reason to learn, prepare and practice something new. It’s a positive and informative event!
Theme: Jazz blues style. Students must learn a song or compose their own. Students will also receive a festival checklist. Entrants in events must perform from memory. Each participant must provide the Adjudicators with the music they are playing.
Who: For ALL students of Any Age (including our Little Mozarts, and especially our Master Students) and of Any Instrument!
Where: The Music Festival will be located at Music Maker Workshops in the big room.
When: Saturday, October 3rd, 2009 starting at 1:00 p.m.. Festivals will be 1 hour long. We’ll book them all afternoon (specify if you need a specific time in the afternoon).
Awards: Each performer will receive immediate verbal feedback from adjudicators plus a keepsake form. All participants will receive a music reward.
